Our Land & Development department focus actively on identifying new sites and actively disposing of sites. They pride them on being pro-active, intuitive and pragmatic when looking for the sites which has enabled Perry Holt to be the orchestrators of many great development schemes.

The team look at the whole spectrum for Land and Development, this can range from identifying brownfield/green belt sites which are prime for residential development, to an office block that can be converted under permitted development rights or a complicated land assembly with the aid of our commercial department which can be ripe for a regeneration scheme.

We have also had a lot of success with mixed use schemes mainly in town centres, predominantly where our most significant we helped acquire on behalf of clients is on Clarendon Road. The scheme was a large derelict office block on Watford’s main office boulevard which our client, NL Property then achieved a fantastic planning permission of 110,000 sqft of offices and 154 high quality apartments.


An element of the teams work is building a rapport with landowners and being able to advise on the best route to bring forward for development. The company has a highly regarded reputation when it comes to selling sites as well assembling them together. Through a network of close, trusted contacts they are capable of manufacturing deals together by knowing what their contacts look for in a scheme. My role at Perry Holt is varied as I not only deal with development opportunities but also investment deals. I work very closely along side Joel as there is a cross over on a lot of the work, we do which enables us to appraise sites and opportunities to maximise the best value for our clients. I always pride myself on being at the end of the phone if needed and to not shy away from difficult situations while also treating my clients how I would want to be treated.
