Our Land & Development department specialise in two roles, actively identifying new sites and actively disposing of sites. They pride them on being pro-active, intuitive and pragmatic when looking for the sites which has enabled Perry Holt & Co to be the orchestrators of many great development schemes in their patch.

Perry Holt & Co look at the whole spectrum for Land and Development, this can range from identifying a parcel of land at the end of a road which is prime for another residential dwelling to be added, to a office block that can be converted under permitted development rights or a complicated land assembly with the aid of our commercial department to piece together a scheme with potential for a large apartment scheme.

We have also had a lot of success with mixed use schemes mainly in Watford Town Centre, where our most significant current scheme is on Clarendon Road that we put together. 37-39 Clarendon Road comprises of 110,000 sqft of offices and 154 high quality apartments.


An element of their work is building a rapport with landowners and being able to advise on the best route to bring forward for development. Perry Holt & Co deal with local planning consultants who can aid and give expertise in order to achieve the result for the landowner. They have great relationships with planning consultants, architects and development finance brokers which allows them to aid a buyer in packaging together the best possible deal on the site.

Through a network of close, trusted contacts they are capable of manufacturing deals together by knowing what their contacts look for in a scheme. My role at Perry Holt & Co is to source and structure together development acquisitions on behalf of my clients. This can vary from parcelling together 3 back gardens for 4 dwellings or working with our Head of Commercial Joel Lobatto, looking at a piece commercial land which has developments potential for a high rise block of apartments. I always pride myself of being at the end of the phone if needed and to not shy away from difficult situations while also treating my clients how I would want to be treated.
